Took over the family business founded by my father, Manuel Sajiun, in 1965. Shifted focus from residential/small commercial work to exclusive public-sector contracts. Spent years building compliance systems, certifications, and teams to master government bidding, prevailing wages, audits, and bonding. Delivered flawless execution on dozens of projects for schools, hospitals, courthouses, correctional facilities, and NYCHA housing—rescuing delayed jobs, achieving zero safety incidents over 30 years, first-pass submittal approvals, and early substantial completions. Known for turning red tape into reliability, ensuring uninterrupted power in mission-critical environments.
Family Business Foundations
Grew up on job sites, helping on weekends and summers. Earned an electrical engineering degree from SUNY and a master electrician license. Rejoined the company in the late 1990s, leading the strategic pivot to public infrastructure for stability and impact.
